Udhay tells me that the shortest intro on this mailing list was, "Udhay sent me". Well...I never sit content with one word where ten can do...that should tell you my gender straightaway!
Facts...I am a 52-year-old housewife who lives in South Bangalore and finds life and people fascinating. I am married to someone who disappears over the horizon every day (to Hosur) and I am lucky enough not to have to work for a living, and to have good physical and fiscal health to pursue many interests. I am a Carnatic musician my last concert was over a year ago. I love all kinds of music, classical, film and modern, with the exception of heavy metal. I love cryptic crossword puzzles and dingbats, love reading and writing, learning languages, and have recently turned from a wildlife tourist to a wildlifer. I run a family quiz group-- QuizFamilies. I run a couple of egroups. I love travelling, whether it is all over the world or to another undiscovered treasure in Karnataka. I have a grown up daughter who lives with her husband in St Louis. I am thoroughly enjoying each phase of my life. I swim and walk a lot..but don't like gymming too much.
I am waiting to discover a whole new group of people. I think email is very good because it takes away the externals and shows people for what they are; I have found some close friends entirely through email. I took a resolve not to take out my car unless absolutely necessary...I walk or cycle everywhere that I can.
I love to laugh. I don't mind being laughed at...occasionally.
