i have the name, i can probably trace the guy here. its not a big place.

funny thing with the indians here, the ones who were born in kenya have 
usually never thought of visiting India and have little
idea of how the country is or has changed in the last 100 years.  In 
public they vehemently call themselves Kenyan, but 
secretly many make plans to run away to england or australia (many others 
leave and then come back complaining about
the impossibility of having servants and big houses in a first world 
country....).  They are quite cosmopolitan in  some ways, 
but still have cultural practices probably last seen in urban india 
decades ago. 

the other indians, the ones who came later (in the last 20 years) , have 
formed themselves into regional associations where 
they have endless squabbles centered around regional and caste politics. 
they hold "committee" elections roughly along 
political party lines aligned with indian politics. they send petitions to 
Sun tv and Gemini tv and DD Bangla to beam channels 
in to east africa. they generally have little idea of local politics or 
custom - and generally stay indoors after sunset.
