what's the multiple of top salary to bottom at the organisation you work with? i recall narayan murthy advocating 19:1 for the indian corporate sector. cry follows a 9:1.
In my company the ratio is presently 145:1, not counting part-time workers and interns at the bottom, and bonuses and stock at the top.
If my CEO gets the bonus expected, the ratio to my part-time wages will be about 1900:1.
If you count wages paid to employees at subsidiaries or suppliers in the third world, you'll probably need a couple more zeros.
