Just what does "retirement" mean to you folks? And does the prospect seem inviting or otherwise?
work = one is willing to do boring things if enough profit is involved. retirement = one can do interesting things even if losses are involved. (NB. these are not mutually exclusive -- but one's emphasis may change) I doubt anyone who can have knowledgable, civil and most of all, _fun_ conversations about technology, philosophy, culture and whatever else has much to fear from retirement. -Dave
