1. which Lord's book?
2. if the Christians', then it's originally written in Hebrew *and*
Greek, and maybe parts of it even in Aramaic, though these originals
aren't existing any more.

This discussion in Silk inspired me to go borrow _Misquoting Jesus_[1]
from the library. I have had a fascinating week reading the early
history of the book and its transformation. I wish there were an
equivalent book of textual analysis of Hindu texts.
