To amplify on the above crypticism: I'd asked Madhu, along with a couple of other silklister yahoos, to check on this random weirdness a few days back, when the archive had disappeared completely. Does this mean that yahoogroups will not support archiving of externally hosted lists anymore? This sounds dumb to me, for at least 2 reasons: 1. The folks who have externally hosted lists archived on yahoogroups (other examples: india-gii, fork, rre) tend to be those who've been online a fair while, have some reputation capital accumulated, and can make this a PR disaster for yahoo, at least in some circles. 2. It just doesn't make commercial sense to throw away traffic - especially traffic for which you're not even incurring the associated cost of running a list for!
