the surname Maheshwari is a common surname in Rajasthan, but gets
mistaken for a lady's first name in southern India

 

Hey, I REALLY want to know what the name means, no foul jokes permitted. ...*you* want a foul joke? Why do you call someone who falls into a water body in Ulsoor or Hebbal a But?  Because that person is Lekin....

Being a Kol born-bred-buttered, I know the surname Maheshwari well...I also do have some Maheshwari friends.

And remember, me kin get nasty if I don't get an explanation! What a way to spend Sunday afternoon!
