Dodes'Kaden - yup. Not the others though (certainly not Yoidore Tenshi -
that's Mifune's debut, so I really ought to see it)
I saw a wonderful criterion collection dvd double set - Jean Renoir's Les
bas fonds (late 30s), and Donzoko. Both adapted from the same Gorki play.
Unfortunately that was in singapore, I'd just run out of spare singapore
dollars for that trip. Oh well, I know the store where I saw it, I'll pick
up a copy the next time I'm there.
