Umm - I'm not so sure about that. I have myself seen (in the casualty department) the results of attempted Bobbitry with teeth. If an angry woman in Papua New Guinea does that it is hardly likely to make it to the front pages and TV screens the way Lorena's Bobbitry did. Media reach has role to play in this. Ultimately it IS all about media and titillation isn't it? The unit "Gbbt" is attractive and humorous because it suggests penis, husband, wife, sex and yet pretends that it does not. shiv
