[silk] Help needed in porting email

I'm moving to the US in ten days time and I would like to port my email 
messages from my office computer. I use MS Outlook Express and I have around 
1.5 GB of stored messages going back five years. One way I used to do 
earlier was to copy the .dbx files, but that doesn't work always.

Any ideas? I'd like to test the porting before I leave, just to make sure.
