Sad to say, but it seems to me long past time to change the silk-list
slogan from "Intelligent Conversation" to simply "Conversation".

Why? Because the participants talk about beliefs that you do not hold?
It seems to me that a conversation where everybody agreed would be
mighty dull.

Why do people read your posts about your libertarian hobby horse?
Because, as unrealistic as they may appear to some, they still make
for interesting reading.
