I had intended to reply to this email when I read it in April and somehow it got lost in the junk that is my mailbox!
Between then and now I went on a 10 day trip to Greece, my husband had knee surgery and has started on the long road back to normalcy and I am lagging behind on all my emails.
I haven't hiked much at all this summer and I just started running regularly (with the hope of doing a half marathon in late Oct) . If you ever feel like climbing mission peak or any other barren landmarks nearby, ping me.

I am in the South Bay too. Though, I seriously doubt if I will be able
to keep up with you in hiking because of my recent acquisition of a
few extra pounds thanks to free food at work.

Nice photos.
BTW, what *is* it with European Atlantic isles and spheres in public
places. Compare http://pvmemoirs.com/tralee/town_center.html from
Tralee, Ireland to
http://lightbox.openscroll.org/main.php?g2_itemId=457 from Birmingham,
Great Britain.
