personally, i hate flying - everything about it, the smell, the plastic stench of the food, sitting next to people
who fart throughout the flight etc... if there is a bus or train available (unfortunately not available for long haul )
i prefer to take that.
as the chemistry email said, the chemical method sounds just too ludicrous and complicated. When i take a
flight, i always ask for the seats near the emergency exit (they have more legroom and sometimes the air
hostesses use these seats....) - and you are told that if you "pull the big red lever" the door will fly off - "so, dont
pull it unless you are told to do so..."....wonder why they havent concluded that the safety exit is a security hazard?
