Sorry - the assumption is flawed because you have cause and effect mixed up. The US is a safe place to live because the US takes all the necessary steps to pre-empt or thwart terrorism. If some terrorists slip through the net - they are treated as described. The state of "being a safe place to live" is earned by *preventing* terrorism and not by reactively punishing "strictly" or otherwise. shiv
