I don't put much stock in the fine details of league rankings, but was
pleasantly surprised today to find that the WEF's rationales for their
top ranked "globally competitive" countries[0], as articulated by
Lopez-Claros, were distressingly similar to the criteria my wife and I
had followed for our personal choice.[1]
FWIW, their claim is that India is better placed than China but not so
well off as the Emirates or the Czech Republic. Does that sound
reasonable, or not?
