Is that a joke? LSE is regarded by many as one of the finer academic
institutions in the world -- not quite Cambridge/Oxford/Harvard/Yale
territory, but not too far behind in the subjects it is known for.

While the LSE has produced such stellar graduates as the Rt. Hon.
James Hacker, its reputation among cognoscenti like Sir Humphrey
Appleby and Sir Bernard Wooley is not among the best.
