What makes a programmer "bad" or "average"? I would have been inclined to believe that, iike all other skills on earth - there is no such thing as a "world's best" programmer. Programming skills probably fall under a bell curve under which most programmers would fall, with an individual programmer being able to form some tasks better than most others given certain circumstances, and another scoring better than her depending on task and circumstance. shiv
