Well, after my first two experiences voting in the US ('00 and '04), I
woke up the next morning with a hangover (one after prematurely
celebrating and one after knowing defeat) and a Republican president.
Last night I went to bed not really caring and having not had a drop.
I wake up with a Democratically controlled house, and the senate at
least closer. I think it's time to stop drinking and caring, it works
better.
Too bad really that it takes lots of dead Americans and even more dead
Iraqis to shake Americans out of their stupor. Even worse that so many
still don't get it.
