Since I can't make up my mind and nobody in the family can agree we get the
Times of India, the Deccan Herald and the Hindu.

Between the three papers we sometimes also get real news.

I agree with that!

My personal analysis: T of I = spicy,  most pages are page 3, useless American crossword, good puzzles, good on Sunday. Hindu = stodgy, but good photographs, lousy crossword, and Sunday magazine is good. Deccan Herald = excellent coverage of local and Karanataka news,  hilarious typos abound ("forgerer caught"), great crossword, esp on Saturdays (they also publish my articles so I have a soft corner for them!) . We buy DH and the Hindu, and the T of I  only on Sundays.

I do love the newspaper-and- filter-coffee (me) /  tea-set  (spouse) ritual that we have in the mornings( there, I have dated myself with that statement!)

I get all my news online. I do get the Times of India at home,
primarily, I admit, for the comics.
