Vote for better people or accept the status-quo
Do we have better people in India running for public office? All the better people are busy pointing out faults in the current system or telling others to vote for better people. If the really forward thinking, educated folks decide to do something for the nation, we have an alternative.

IMHO, I think the politicians have done a decent job so far, in spite of all the corruption and faults, in keeping India as a whole. India is as diverse as EU and just as crazy. But the greatest thing is that it is still one nation.

I think all of us, yes we the people, need a pat on the back for keeping it together so far. Just take a look at Iraq now... There is a very strong notion that it will have to be split into three different territories for peace.

Of course, I do not condone the sad state of affairs, but administering a large country with over a billion people is no mean feat. If only we were a small country like Singapore, it would have been so much easier.
