Until this moment, my favourite medical term was "idiopathic". It
still is, but it has just been joined by "iatrogenic".
"all in the mind" and "caused by a doctor's incompetence"
both quite real terms, but what makes them your favorites?
Favourites in an ironic sense, in that they are both quite often used
to mask ignorance or culpability.
idiopathic = "I have no idea what this is"
iatrogenic = "Oops, I fscked up."
