dont know about that, but though i have hardly read archie myself,
i quite like the fact that people are actually talking about the
minutiae of a graphic style, calling up their visual memory of other
rendering styles, etc . etc.
kind of reminds me when illustrators talk shop and discuss the
difference in the angle of pen slant in the crosshatching of
different styles.

My previous statement should have been "Funny that men..." and not
"Funny men". I am not going to be making any judgment as to the sense
of humor of the men responding to this thread.
