Her writing is profoundly uninspired, and full of bombast and rhetoric
(socialist rhetoric, from a socialite? great!) rather than any real
substance is the problem. OK fine - there are enough mediocre authors,
even mediocre authors who get feted by the media. But when they let that
"praise" get to their heads and start trying their hands at "social
activism" is when it really becomes a problem.
