I plan to have this stuff out on my balcony and compare with the official stats. Max-min requires one reading daily, and for my purposes, two humidity readings a day should be fine. I can easily log this. The digital stuff is more expensive, and from what I see on the net, needlessly complicated / integrated / unhackable, so I don't get any benefits other than automated logging.
