Actually, I do, but it's in Calcutta. I wonder if those shops even exist
any more. I hear there aren't any roadside book shops on College Street
these days.
They still exist. Was looking for a good Sanskrit > Eng dictionary and
the first stall I stopped at had a handbound 1970 edition of a
comprehensive old classic (I know it was a classic because the
bookworms loved it) for a ridiculously low price.
Ram, thermometers/hygrometers are definitely available in Delhi -
Darya Ganj (and a couple of galis off it too). Ask someone to buy one
and ship it to you in the UAE, gently :-) Are they for your 6 yr old
son to face, and play with? ;-)
