It would take a line by line rebuttal of his essay, which 
I don't have the time for. He dismisses hydrogen as a hoax
for no reason, and pushes nuclear power for no good reason
(unless he'd mention thorium, then he'd have a minor point).
There are many such half-truths there. I don't think he's
misrepresenting on purpose, he probably really doesn't know.

I haven't seen a single accurate description of the problem
space in a single article, or even given a book-length treatment, 
anywhere. No wonder politics has no clue -- if the voters don't, 
who'd expect that?
