GVA / ZRH are actually far more pleasant airports to transit through - very small, quick to do transits. FRA too - huge but quick transits possible (and Lufthansa has finally started updating their jets a bit - new business class on all their planes). CDG - I'm transiting through it more and more these days - and its fairly bearable after a while.. gritting my teeth only because AF has a far better economy product and better inflight food than LH or LX, and because EK doesnt belong to any particular alliance, so no use flying that if you want to collect points. LHR no way, even though BA is an excellent airline, the best of that lot
