the only real free market i have seen that works is the one related to subsistence economy.... People growing cabbages, pineapples, maize and rearing cattle - for their own consumption or to trade for other goods or cash..... (i have used agriculture as an example because most african countries have an agrarian population... most people in urban areas are either unemployed or casual laborers...)
every other sector ....tea, coffee , oil, diamonds, copper, real estate, aid, telecom is a market controlled by a clique or a cartel....
