I know someone who knows someone (ok, so I have no way of telling this actually happened, but anyway...) who got fired because she mouthed off about the speaker while under the impression that her end was muted. I always remember that when I am on a conference call. If a meeting gets really unbearable my phone usually disconnects due to some technical glitch or the other, and then the conferencing system doesn't let me back in - what a shame. Cheeni
