Should we laugh and appreciate the deftness of the design? Should we
cry and bemoan the state of our civilization that makes this
necessary? I did both...

 I remember an essay I read in college...the definition of
civilization being that a beautiful woman decked out with jewellery
could walk alone at night...and the other definition being, the laying
down of any form of weaponry by citizens of the state...
