I did a small amount of work with a couple of Indian ISPs a couple of years ago. My impression at that point was that they had bought a big pile of technology from the leading vendors but they were very short of people who really understood how to effectively use it. So all the basics worked fine since it had been setup for them but anything a little more advanced was not really looked into. This was some time back and may no longer be true. People plugged into that crowd like Devdas or Suresh may have a more accurate picture than I. -- b
