Don't blow directly at the CCD either. The air around you may not be clean enough. Get a nylon paintbrush (~Rs 80 at Crossword in Bangalore), make sure it's clean (ie, free of any coatings), and blow at it with the bulb to electrically charge the bristles. Use that to brush the CCD, two passes.

Works great for me. I keep my brush in a Ziploc bag and take it out only in airconditioned rooms with the windows shut.
