Citizenship tests - one of my pet peeves. I wouldn't have such a problem with it if they asked questions that natural born citizens could actually answer, but (atleast in the UK), they don't. It's just a bunch of random facts to be memorized from a book they issue for the purpose. Eg - a friend who took it recently was asked how many Members of Parliament there are in the UK. I'll bet that most natural born citizens can't answer that with any reasonable degree of accuracy (and I checked and asked a couple, who couldn't). My friend said there were about 15-20 people taking the test with him and only two people passed that day (they tell you the results immediately). Several people had taken the test multiple times. Ridiculous.
