Hello: I am writing an aritcle for Financial Express that basically looks back at key developments in the mobile space in India this past year. This is not an in-depth article, but a round-up of sorts that will cover some key developments in mobile and move beyond the ringtone and wallpaper offerings and look at mobile (mcommerce) payment options, voice-based sms service etc. that are now available to Indian mobile users. I believe Bangalore is the hub of mobile development and there are some interesting companies located here. I am wondering if any of you have come across any interesting mobile company or service that you would like to share? Any idea how big the size of the mobile market is in India? I have seen a whole bunch of numbers, and then there is the IAMAI study...but perhaps somebody has access to other research information in this group? Please write to me offline.
