And here's one happy visa story I received today.... "...C and A arrived in Chennai, but C forgot to bring her visa for India which was in her old passport and not yet transferred to her new passport. When at 8:30am, we got a call from the Immigration officer at the Chennai airport, we were all surprised to hear that he was going to send C back to Dubai on the next flight since she did not have the proper entry papers for India. Between C's tears and my giving the officer the full story of how C is here to shop for her wedding sari and it would be heart breaking to send her away, he relented. He gave her 72 hours to stay in Chennai and then she would have to leave the country. .."
I, for one, was surprised.
