Not required, I think, though this is a matter of interpretation. See

On a related note, at least one fundamentalist Christian has a sense
of humour. I saw a sign on a car in Bangalore that said, "IN CASE OF
RAPTURE, THIS CAR WILL BE DRIVERLESS"

(Yes, I am aware of the possibility that this individual wasn't
joking. I am closing my mind to that possibility for the purposes of
telling a better story.)
