heh thanks for that article :-) of course it's a joke, but if it were a serious piece it would be flawed simply due to selection bias. studies are, one imagines (or hopes) more likely to be published if they indeed show causation. since they will all include correlation in their results as one of the pieces of evidence for causation, well causation and correlation would correlate. -rishab
