This is all true. Just as true is that most of israels neighbors wanted to
wipe it off the map the instant it was formed .. and combined to do it. Got
whipped so badly that they lob rockets into the place every so often, while
others write articles and still others march in the streets. Great.
Both sides of this particular argument come from cultures where "an eye for
an eye" is an ages old concept, and PLO / Hizbollah / Hamas etc have caused
enough harm on their own (besides egyptian, syrian etc tanks and such in
previous wars) for this particular lot of people to point too many fingers.
So what if napalm and white phosphorus get used by one side while the other
side prefers crude bombs stuffed with nails, entebbe plane hijack and black
september type terrorist incidents, and old russian missile and artillery
fire lobbed into crowded towns.
Both sides have enough grievances, and arent exactly running short of
weaponry. So, I dont expect this article to change a single thing.
