I am trying to figure out what the term "communities" means in the context of say groups like Facebook, Twitter, linux groups, open source collectives, wikipedia users, etc. And how do these "communities" intersect/diverge/complement/contradict with "communities" such as rural citizens, urban neighbourhoods, slum dwellings, squatter settlements, cities and nations?!?!?!
