Bottom-posting can be just as annoying if you don't trim your replies.
Trimming and interleaved replies do just fine on any MUA known
to man.

Well, if they're using crippled MUAs, it's their problem. Why should
we those not so afflicted also suffer? (I also read my emails via
Android Gmail on the road, but I don't reply to mailing lists/newsgroups
from it).

You leave enough context in to figure out what's it all about. 
For everything else there's the thread (to add insult to injury
top-posters tend to be clueless and/or use broken MUAs which also
mange the thread, with the offender remaining blissfully unaware).
