May I ask if these invites are typically sent out actively by your involvement or without permission. I mean in sites like facebook or netlog. I keep getting invites from friends who have my email id. Yesterdy aI got one invite bearing 3 names of people I know well but the invite also has their age and gender listed. I consider this sort of stuff as information about me which can be found by a search - but cannot be found that easily, and I would certainly not want such info to be offered on a platter if only because I don't want someone making money by selling my personal details along with those of a 100,000 others. I am too paranoid to put my details on such sites although I am now tempted to create several fake profiles to register at least to keep in touch with old, if naive friends. shiv
