As an analogy, that one's off the mark by a mile. I did not choose to be lactose intolerant. For what it's worth, about 70% of the world's population has the same problem.
My point in the earlier mail (probably obvious) was that giving away my mail password to a site I don't know is something I expect my tech-illiterate aunt to do, but not somebody who I expect is well aware of security issues.
