Since I was sitting to a girl apparently of southern Indian origin (turned out it was Karnataka, not Andhra Pradesh) at a pirate stammtisch yesterday, on a lark I pulled up a list of silklist participants and she spontaneously identified five people she knew (of, not personally). Wow. Small world.
