Apparently, reality is that those who proffer the zero-rupee notes find,
mysteriously, that their works are blocked even further.... :( I was talking
about this with an economist friend and his wife, who've both done a fair
amount of work in the NGO field....shortly before the wife died. (Er, my
talking to her was not the cause of her demise.) She expressed the view that
such initiatives belonged in the same class as Gandhigir....sounded great in
the movies, with perhaps a little limited success in the real world.
