i haven't read the outlook article very closely - but i suspect that significant portions of this new research might not be entirely new. in fact, that article was for me, a rapid replay of Osamu Tezuka's magnum opus, Buddha :-) although Tezuka has taken 'creative freedom' with his interpretation of events, reading the Outlook essay, i realised that what i had earlier thought of as confabulation might not be entirely so
