Mother-Monday Saw-Saturday Father-Friday Wearing-Wednesday The-Thursday
Turban-Tuesday Sun-.....

The day starts at 6am by the Hindu calculation, and the raahu kalam is for
1.5 hours...so the list goes 6am to 7.30am and so forth...if I recollect
rightly.

Now let's started on yama khandam (yama being the god of death, and khandam
being "piece" or "period"...also an inauspicious time, in fact, more
so!).... :) I don't know a mnemonic for that...why is "mnemonic" such a
hard word to remember, and to spell? I remember a mnemonic for spelling
"professor" that went (in Tamizh)"oru pee, reNdu isshu"!

Deepa.
