BTW, I am not an anti-yak-shaving. What I am cautioning against is
getting into the woollen trade without knowing why. If you are having
fun hanging out in the warm summer sun on the Tibetan plateau, shaving
yaks, producing wool for sweaters to keep you warm during the cold
dark winters, then more power to you and your yak shears. But if you
are shaving yaks because a bushy unshaved yak looks aesthetically
odd.... guess what? There will be unshaved bushy yaks next Spring and
every future Spring.
