Hello Silklisters,

I am trying a new kind of academic research/essay writing. Getting people a
lot more intelligent and informed than I am to write my essays for me. The
Tom Sawyer system for academia, in a way. I began my MA dissertation idea
here on Silk, and it is only fitting I ask you all help finish it.
I am asking a few questions (two to begin with) about the role of the
internet in influencing our understanding of heritage/archaeology and
photographs as objects. If you folks have the time and inclination, mind
answering the questions?

1) On the role of tools like facebook.

2) Photos as objects, and how it changes your view.

For purposes of referencing and quoting, and to help me compile the
information better, I'd appreciate it if you folks can respond on the
individual threads, but if you'd rather not join another group on Fb/flickr,
you can reply here.
