You are reading too much into my initial post. It was ironic. Irony  the 
essence of humor and all that.

There is some amount of leeway implied. If you want to post your preferred list 
of top 3/5/(10?, 25?, 30?) rock songs, that is fine too. And let us relax a 
bit. It is only a mailing list discussion. One ought to give people some leeway 
in terms of both time and structure of the response.
