The data speeds were generally good on both networks. Getting a connection required a visit to the nearest telephone exchange, trying to interest a reluctant set of employees in the business I was bringing to them and some spirited arguments over the identity and address proofs. Eventually, things sorted out and I got the SIM which I had to manually cut into a micro-SIM. Am currently on Vodafone 3G network (for last 2-3 weeks) on iPhone 4. It has reverted to Edge for last couple of days without any intimation/note of apology from Vodafone. Regards, Nandkumar
